Matthews Cotswold Malted Rye is a wholesome blend of rye and high protein wheat, with added rye flakes to create a dark and rich dough packed with flavour, ideal for tasty bread. The stoneground wholegrain rye retains its nutritional value from all three parts of the rye grain for improved nutrition and taste.
This flour makes a country-style bread with a distinctive aroma and flavour coming from the malted flakes. Ideal for making sourdough and for long fermentation loaves.

Matthews Malted Cotswold Rye Flour 1.5kg
A great flour. It has a lovely rich and nutty flavour. I added a teaspoonful of malt flour to it and a few extra flakes. It toasts really well and the result is very tasty and crunchy. Great with cheese too. Excellent service from Bakery Bits as always.

This is a regular flour I use from Matthews, I usually mix it with Matthews white Spelt and Matthews Cotswold crunch, it makes fantastic bread with excellent smell,taste and crumb
