Our Introduction to Bread Making class covers a number of skill levels from those who've made some before through to complete novice. Focus is on mixing, kneading and shaping techniques to demystify bread and show several recipes ranging from yeasted, slow proof, non-yeast and no knead to fit with people's schedules.
We make a master white dough which is shaped into a sandwich loaf, topped focaccia and seeded rolls. We also run through a no knead recipe, make a soda bread and an enriched dough to learn plaiting.
The class takes place at our home using a domestic oven with a maximum of 4 attendees. They include lunch with your fresh bakes, refreshments, recipes, brand new dough scraper and you take home all of the bread you make.
