Panibois
Panibois is a French company founded in 1997 by Jean-Michel Mariette. The company is based in the Sarthe region of France in the Forêt d'Orléans and specialises in the production of wooden baking moulds for bread and cakes.
The idea for Panibois came to Mariette while he was working as a baker in France. He noticed that the use of traditional metal baking tins often required a lot of effort to clean them after use. Mariette began to explore alternative materials and discovered that wooden moulds offered significant advantages over metal.
Mariette began to experiment with different types of wood and developed a range of wooden baking moulds that were well received by the baking industry. The company grew rapidly and today, Panibois products are sold in over 60 countries.
Panibois continues to innovate and expand its range of products. In addition to wooden baking moulds, the company produces wooden trays, boards, and baskets for use in bakeries and pastry shops. The company is committed to sustainable and responsible forestry practices and sources all its wood from FSC-certified forests to ensure that its products are both high quality and environmentally friendly.
