Mure & Peyrot, two families established their business over 100 years ago. They pooled their knowledge developed from a rich heritage of cutlery and knives from Puy-de-Dôme close to Thiers, which is renowned for its knives the world over. The industry grew up using the power of the river Durolle dating from the Middle Ages. Today, Mure & Peyrot designs cutters for wide uses from warehouses to food service and makes a variety of specialised lames for the baking industry suited to home and professional bakers.
