The BakeryBits Refractory Clay Baking Stone (34cm diameter) is, as the name suggests made from the same material used in furnaces. That means they are really tough and with a high heat capacity so ideal for baking bread (and other bakes like pizzas, flatbreads etc).
They are much thicker (23mm) than a conventional ceramic pizza stone so they can hold more heat. In turn, this means that unlike thin pizza stones, they have enough heat to assist in baking bread (pizza stones don't hold much heat by comparison so have enough heat for pizza base baking but not enough to help much with bread baking).
