Like the width and how light it is. Makes it very handy to slide bread into the oven. Just a little bit of semolina is required to prevent the dough sticking to the peel. On top of that it is the perfect length to keep my hands away from the hot oven elements.
Very useful size, perfect for side oven on my range cooker, tapers well and feels solid. Have used it for baguettes but also bigger loaves and long pizzas. Very pleased.
