Would it be safe to cook lasagne or fish pie in individual portions in the 135 mm panettone cases? i am looking for a cheap way of mass catering for a charity event. i would want to cook in advance, freeze then defrost and reheat the meals. The cases are designed for cake mixture, they are free standing and designed for presentation too, after beingin the oven. So, they are pretty robust. The only concerns I would have is the level of oil that your meal might contain - it might be worth trying some first. Also, the panettone rather than basso cases may be too tall. Alternatively, the Panibois wooden, lined cases are very popular for cakes and meals: they are used in the large London department stores for cottage pies etc.
