Product FAQs

Ask a Question

  • Can the cases be used in the oven?
Yes, the paper cake cases are designed to hold the dough in the oven and for the baked panettone to remain in the case until the cake is eaten.
  • What temperature can the cases withstand?

They are designed to withstand a moderately hot oven, 220°C / 430F.

  • Where can I find some panettone and Colomba Pasquale recipes?
There are several recipes on our blog that will get you started.
  • Can the Panettone Cases be reused?
The Panettone cases are designed for single use.
  • Do these cases need to go inside a cake tin, or can you just back them on a tray?
The cases are designed to be free-standing so do not need any additional support in or out of the oven. Thanks
  • Are the cases gluten-free?
Yes, the cases are gluten free.
  • Would it be safe to cook lasagne or fish pie in individual portions in the 135 mm panettone cases? i am looking for a cheap way of mass catering for a charity event. i would want to cook in advance, freeze then defrost and reheat the meals.
The cases are designed for cake mixture, they are free standing and designed for presentation too, after beingin the oven. So, they are pretty robust. The only concerns I would have is the level of oil that your meal might contain - it might be worth trying some first. Also, the panettone rather than basso cases may be too tall. Alternatively, the Panibois wooden, lined cases are very popular for cakes and meals: they are used in the large London department stores for cottage pies etc.
