Dispatch Times, Delivery Charges and Environmental Responsibility

At BakeryBits we understand that your purchase doesn't stop at our checkout, but when you have received your order. We undertake to ensure that dispatch time delivery charges are kept as low as possible and the environmental impact of our business kept to a minimum.

Delivery Charges

UK Mainland

Packages under 2kg are sent by 1st class Royal Mail. Packages over 2kg are sent by courier. Upgraded next day delivery is available subject to courier pick-up times.

UK Northern Ireland, Highlands and Islands and Channel Islands

Packages under 2kg are sent by 1st class Royal Mail. Packages over 2kg are sent by courier.

 *  This service is provided by Royal Mail. Most UK addresses are guaranteed by 1pm the following day, including Northern Ireland, Jersey and Guernsey. Some, more remote areas take longer. Specific details are available from the Post Office.

Europe and Rest of World

Shipping to Europe is by Airmail up to 2kg (Royal Mail 3-5 working days) and charged according to Royal Mail fees. Weights above 2kg are by courier and charges reflect actual costs, shown in the checkout. We have made efforts to secure the lowest charges we can find. 

Environmental Responsibility

At BakeryBits we are very keen to keep our impact to a minimum. We are continually making improvements as they are identified and as materials become available. All our bubble-wrap and filler packaging is bio-degradable as are the larger bags we use for shipmenrs. We reuse packaging we receive in our deliveries, as appropriate to reduce waste. Our paper is recycled and we are continually looking for ways to lower our impact.

Dispatch Time

Orders are normally dispatched within a working day. You will receive an email letting you know that your order has been shipped, with tracking information where provided by the courier.
